Asia XR Golden Awards
To highlight the deep collaboration between TAVAR and Japanese partners, three heavyweight experts from Japan were specially invited. These mentors include Shun Kubota, the general manager of XR Consortium, and Editor-in-Chief of Mogura VR, who signed the MOU with TAVAR. Kuniyoshi Mabuchi, the president of Metaverse Japan and partner at PwC Japan ; and Takuya Nomura, the General Producer of Knowledge Capital and also an entrepreneurship advisor to the Japanese government's Cabinet Office. They shared insights into the current status and trends of Japan's development in metaverse and AI during the international forum.

Asia XR Goldent Awardsm
Organized by TAVAR (Taiwan Association of Virtual and Augmented Reality) and jointly promoted by XR EXPRESS Taiwan, officially took place on the 11th under the guidance of the National Development Council and with full support from Startup Island TAIWAN. The event not only united Japan's largest XR and VTuber specialized media "MoguraVR," but also formed a special partnership with "XR Consortium," jointly signing a memorandum of cooperation to assist Taiwan's XR industry in entering the Japanese market.
A total of 15 awards were presented. Congratulations to all the winners!

XR EXPRESS Osaka
With the first stop in Osaka from 5th- 6th July, XR EXPRESS Japan came back with fruitful results! Led by TAVAR Association, joined forces with the National Startup Branding Office Startup Island TAIWAN to visit Osaka, Japan, for business expansion. The event received an enthusiastic response from local businesses and governments, and helped TAVAR members appear for the first time in front of more than a dozen major Japanese companies from Osaka Innovation Hub, the largest startup community in Kansai, and Osaka Springboard.

Visiting Station Ai
The organization we are introducing next is STATION Ai located in Nagoya, Japan. STATION Ai is an organization established by a subsidiary of the SoftBank Group, aiming to become one of the leading incubators in Japan. They are currently undertaking the construction of a large-scale startup facility, which is expected to be completed in October 2024. They are collaborating with the Aichi Prefectural Government in a BOT project, with a development plan spanning at least 10 years.

Visiting Innovation Dojo Japan
Innovation Dojo Japan is an innovative accelerator program in collaboration with the Kobe City Government, dedicated to assisting the development of emerging startups. The program focuses on the growth of various key industries, including biomedicine, hydrogen energy, IT technology, food, and aerospace (military aircraft). Within this program, MonoAI serves as a representative of a publicly listed Japanese startup supported by the Kobe government.

Visiting Knowledge Capital
Jointly developed by 12 private companies, combined with shopping malls and restaurants, its members include NTT Group, Hankyu Group, Mitsubishi Group, etc. A variety of social spaces are complete, including large and small offices, salons, research rooms, showrooms, theaters, etc. KNOWLEDGE CAPITAL's mission is to foster innovation in a variety of fields and provide businesses and individuals with a unique environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Osaka Innovation Hub (OIH) is an entrepreneurial center supported by the Osaka City Government, with resources such as international start-up companies, media, investors and acceleration programs. OIH provides necessary information for foreign start-ups to participate in activities, write about the entrepreneurial scene in Osaka, invest in innovative companies, and conduct business.

"New stars are born all the time in the Metaverse! We believe that through 2023 Asia XR Golden Awards, the platform can promote the creativity and influence of XR startups in Taiwan. Starting from Taiwan and expanding to Japan, we aim to spread influence throughout Asia. We welcome any works that focus on innovation and incorporate VR/AR technology into the concept of the metaverse to participate in the Asia XR Golden Awards.

XR EXPRESS Taiwan's new project for 2023 has been in full swing, and the train will never stop! We all know that the World Expo 2025 will be held in Osaka, so now is the best time to preemptively lay out the Kansai market! We are about to take our XR teams to Osaka for the first stop. In addition, we will also connect with Taiwan and Japan large-scale media to assist Taiwanese startups/ enterprises to be exposed in Osaka.

Taipei Block Chain Week
The "Taipei Blockchain Week 2022" held for the first time in Taiwan from December 12th to 17th. On the first day, more than 800 VIPs attended, more than 30 manufacturers participated, and 1,300 tickets were sold out. This event is hosted by Bu Zhi DAO, which is the first time in Taiwan to launch the largest-scale curation in the form of a "DAO" organization, and Google Cloud and Avalanche are invited as strategic partners. TABEI and XR EXPRESS Taiwan are supported as the co-organizers.

Visiting Metaverse Japan
The largest metaverse industry association in Japan at the moment, Metaverse Japan was established in 2022, with a focus on the development of Japan's WEB 3 industry. Its members span various fields, including the University of Tokyo, PANASONIC, KDDI, Tokyu Corporation, Asahi Television, and VR City Planning Shibuya, among others. They collaborate with academia, corporations, and government institutions to facilitate knowledge exchange and technological innovation. The 2nd Metaverse Japan Summit at Shibuya station will be held on 7/13. At least 3000 thousand people are expected to come to participate.

Mogura VR is a VR company based in Tokyo and is currently the largest VR media and community platform in Japan, renowned for its innovative technology, stunning visual effects, and captivating content. And they are also our partner for "2023 Asia XR Golden Awards" ! Additionally, Mogura VR organizes a large-scale XR-focused exhibition called XR Kaigi every year, attracting over 80 exhibitors from around the world. This exhibition serves as a platform that brings together professionals, developers, manufacturers, and relevant organizations from various fields.

XR Consortium is an organization composed of Japanese companies and institutions dedicated to advancing the development and application of XR technology. As an industry-driven organization, XR Consortium organizes various activities and projects to foster research and development of XR technology. The alliance organizes technical seminars, exhibitions, training courses, and workshops, and has been hosting the XR Creative Awards competition for nine consecutive years. And they are also our partner for "2023 Asia XR Golden Awards" !

The mysterious character we have been waiting for has finally appeared~ It's the conductor of our XR EXPRESS Taiwan Dawn train - Xela! Brand New Metaverse Business Opportunities in South Korea
XR EXPRESS Taiwan held an online live broadcast on July 15, 2022, which was also broadcast live in N24 ARK Taipei, and specially invited the Vice President Alice Chang from TAICCAto deliver a speech. The Korea Metaverse Industry Association (K-META), Taiwan's new startups KDAN Mobile, and Taiwan Virtual and Augmented Reality Industry Association (TAVAR), also joined this event to talk about the WEB 3.0 business opportunities in the Metaverse in Korea.

Together, Go Big Japan-Taiwan Startup Summit
Officially led by the National Development Council, with 33 outstanding startups from Taiwan go straight to Tokyo, Japan to hold the "Together, Go Big Japan-Taiwan Startup Summit"! More than 70 people participated, attracting more than 500 people from trading companies, venture capital, banks and start-ups to participate in the grand event.

Hybrid Conference Software and Hardware Service Matchmaking Conference
The event was opened by Yonghua Shen, the special committee of the Taipei City Government Tourism and Communication Bureau. The Taipei City Expo to be held in late August will be linked to the 2023 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Taipei. XR EXPRESS Taiwan also invited 3 Taiwanese manufacturers providing solutions at the event site, allowing buyers to better understand the application possibilities of the XR virtual-real integration conference.
